one other question. when applying the liquid, it is hard to keep within the confines of the thinning area. does it affect the normal, thicker part of hair in any way?

Just started using minoxidil 5% liquid. Probably a Norwood 3V. I keep a very short haircut and chose liquid for the price. Sure hope it works. Any issues with using sunscreen on the vertex while also using minoxidil?
