Instead you're over 24 and spend all your time on a hair loss forum. Way to go, champ.

    KP story - (with pictures)

You can't be serious. That is not the same. I'm somewhat suspicious of hairline improvement in 1month... but come on, that isn't the same.

    1 Month - Exciting Results!

It isn't too quick. I consider myself a fairly good responder to finasteride (pics coming aug. 1st), and I too noticed "baby hairs" after about 30 days of treatment. Granted I was using minoxidil as well, but again, it's NOT too quick to notice results in one month.

Yep, practically an NW3 indeed. I wish I had some good aerial pictures from when I was younger. My summer before college had some pretty dramatic loss... but since then it has been steady and (relatively) slow. As for dutasteride versus finasteride, my loss has been gradual enough that I am...

how much to apply for Nizoral 1%

I just use a small amount (circumference of a nickle in my palm) and let it sit on my scalp for 3-5 minutes. I do this twice per week. I haven't been using it long, but so far I like it. Decent smell (compared to Tgel) and certainly keeps me scalp from itching.

    Makeshift Liquid Dropper?

Hm, not sure how to make a dropper, just how to order them. http://www.healthaccessories.com/ezy_do ... oppers.htm If ordering isn't an option, you could maybe find a way to combine a rubber bulb and a straw? It may not be very accurate, but could do the trick in a pinch.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I will post photos on the 1st of each month. I usually get my hair cut at the end of each month, so the look should be fairly consistent.

    Begstealborrow's Story - (age 25, high hairline)

I'm almost completely uninformed about how the UK health care system works, but if you are able, go see a hair transplant specialist. No no, I'm not saying you need a hair transplant, but often they will map your hair for miniaturization and assign you a Norwood rating for free (hoping you'll come...

    Bald spots in my beard!

Hm, I can imagine this would be tough, especially if you're very fond of your beard. I have a friend who experienced something similar (circular bald spot under his chin, slightly off center). If I remember right, he went to the doctor and it ended up being a patch of severely dry skin...

Developed a new scale for diffusers.

Do many people have a problem with Nizoral? I justed started using it and it seems fine, but it would be nice to know if I should be on the look-out for any adversities.

    Hairloss is ruining my education!

Taug, You seem like a nice guy and all, but wow. Get some help. Posts like this make you seem unbalanced and liable to do something pretty terrible to yourself. Hair loss should be the least of your worries right now. Go get some treatment for your depression.

    some advice please...

There is quite a bit of reading to be had on the question you have all across this forum. If you do a search for the "Big 3" you'll find that a lot of guys here (of ranging age) have success with Minoxidil, Finasteride, and Nizarol (The Big 3). Do some reading! Loads of information from...

haha, thanks. I gave the clipper a try once, but my friends and family agreed that I looked somewhat mean and unapproachable. I hope it doesn't come to that! Thanks for the comments guys. I enjoy these forums and hope to be a regular of sorts.
