Keep on with the ad-hominem implying I'm making minimum wage :D and also implying that I said that my expectation is that the drug to be 100 % evenly distributed . It's a matter of logic ...
It's not the topic of this debate why I choose to do that. But you posted a link in which FDA says that cutting will give you uneven distribution of the active substance ( which I agree ) , but you jump to your conclusion to pseudo-virtually - 0 mg based on what ?

The subject of the debate was the exaggeration that you could get 0 mg on a cut part . I'm not thinking that I will obtain perfect even parts , but with a variation.
I only find answers that is almost ~evenly distributed . I'm not a stubborn mule , but for the sake of truth : https://newhair.com/baldingblog/is-finasteride-evenly-distributed-in-a-proscar-tablet/
Do you have any sources for this ? I seriously doubt it because it wouldn't make any sense to put empty composite in any side of the pill without the active substance. And why cutting in 4 is safe ? On this logic , one cut can have 0.2 , another 3 mg or 4mg or even 5mg ?
I currently cut proscar pills (5mg) in ten pieces with a knife( to obtain ~0.5 mg ).
But the actual obtained size varies between 0.4 - 0.65 mg because of the difficulties regarding cutting.
Do you think that the uneven dose ( 0.4 - 0.65 mg ) taken every day will create any issues( like hormonal...
Hi guys,
I always wanted to ask for your opinion on the following matter :
-since I'm a diffuse thinner I wasn't able to estimate my norwood scale correctly
-the photos are six months old before I start 1 mg finasteride ( right now I have a short haircut )
So based on your...
Thanks for the info man !
I will take a week off from finasteride and then give it a try with 0.5 mg instead of 1mg . I will also check my estradiol levels after a while on 0.5 mg.
Hi Vulfpeck,
It think these will do :
DHT (dihidrotestosterone) - the bastard that is causing our pain
Total testosterone - a marker of your testosterone bonded with SHBG/Albumine in our blood
Free testosterone - potentially available for work on our androgen receptors
SHBG - The substance on...
Taking 0.25 mg finasteride will not be the same in the long run due to the cumulative effect of this drug? So my estrogen will be on the same high level but it will be a matter of more time ?
Regarding side effects indeed I do not have a significant loss of libido , only some insomnia which I think it's not estrogen related , but neurosteroids related ( 5AR2 also I think regulates conversion of neurosteroids which influences GABA neurotransmitters ).
But another thing concerns me ...
