Okay, so two years ago, I visited two dermatologists One claimed I had Androgenic Alopecia, one said my hair was absolutely fine and there is no problem. I visited a third one last year, but he didn't really look like he knew how to diagnose my hair, so I dropped his medications within two months.

The thing is my hairline still is receding, and the hair there are thin. So, is it okay if I just apply minoxidil only on that area instead of the entire head? ~PS: These might be very stupid questions, but please bear with me. I am very new to this stuff, and I really appreciate you all...

Okay, now I am confused about what to do?laugh emoji Should I undergo minoxidil+finasteride treatment or should I let it go?

Just for update and chronicling sake, this is how my crown looks after I shampooed my hair about an hour ago.

I am not very familiar with Norwood scales, so I don't think I can answer that. All I can say is there is certain baldness in both my paternal and maternal sides of my family.

Sorry. I am really, really new to all this stuff. And I have been struggling with my hair for quite some time now. So, I just wanted to make sure that I know the best products/hair care practices for my hair possible.

Also, is it a good idea to use conditioners/hair oil along with these medications?

Thanks for the information, everyone. So, I have decided to use a combination solution of minoxidil + finasteride, along with multivitamin tablets. Is this a good approach, or should I use minoxidil and finasteride separately?

I actually have that shampoo, but I have never used it. It is too be used daily, or every 2-3 days?
