How prevalent are the side effects with finasteride?

I'm just kinda worried about the side effects from finasteride. I feel like I'm starting to grow a lot back because i lost a lot of long hairs but now there are shorter hairs taking the place.

I have what seems to be a lot of short hair growing in. And I am on Rogaine 5 percent, Nizoral 1 present and some supplements. These are about one month after. I don't have any quality pictures from before.
