I guess you didn't see my post from last year: http://www.hairlosstalk.com/interact/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=47388&p=451619&hilit=Keene#p451619
Looks like everyone thought it was spam
Good Luck then Petchsky!
It's really exciting when you come home after the surgery and you get to look at your new hairline....then it's a little dissapointing when they fall out a week later. But at around the 3 month mark when they start to grow back, it'll be really fun to look in the...
Seriously? The painkillers I was on put me out of commission for at least 10 days. But I did take a full two weeks off and nurtured those grafts every day.
When I did return to work I did wear a hat everyday for about 5 months, then the hair had grown in enough that I could go without it.
I got 1500 in the temples and 600 in the crown. Dr. Keene has a price break at 2100 grafts....so that's what I got. Sorry, but I don't know the density of cm2.
I got my hair transplant in Jan. 08. The pictures on the first post show progress up until 4 months later. The pictures at the end of the post show what it looks like after a full year. For me, the hair transplant looked pretty good after 6 months....but it still improved for the whole year.
Hi Karina,
My advice would be to go see a Dermatologist for a checkup and to get a prescription for Propecia. Get the 5 mg, and cut it into 1/4's....take 1.25 mg daily. (Costco is the cheapest place to get the drug) For better results he should use Minoxidil (Rogaine) as well.
I would...
By an 8 month supply, I mean 60 tablets of 5 mg. Then you cut the tablets into 1/4's. So 60x4=240...240/30 = 8.
The price is soo cheap (1/3rd) compared to other places like Walgreens. Give your local Costco's a call and ask what the prices are.
Here's my crown. The Flash doesn't help.
1 Year Update
Well, it's been a year since I had my hair transplant from Dr. Keene. And let me tell you that I couldn't be happier! I look like I did when I was 18. I've heard nothing but compliments (from the people who know).
At around 9 months, it looked like I had started losing a buch of hair...
I just saw this MSN video about a new Genetic Test for Baldness....$149, not bad. Also, my Doctor, Dr. Keene is in it.

Bythe way, the company that makes the kit is at: http://www.hairdx.com/GeneticTestMale.aspx
Now, I'm not prejudice, but I'd never trust an Idiot to do my hair transplant.
That multi-graft dispenser technique sounds a little similar to a Disscetion Kit I've seen before.
Re: TheAnimator 4 Months PostOp
Hey,
A few more days and I'll have a website up.
As far as forelock graft placement, I discussed this a little bit with Dr. Keene. She said that you get the most "natural" look by having hairs transplanted completely accross the front of the hairline. I...
Sounds like you have what I had. I went to Dr. Sharon Keene in Tucson and so far I'm very happy with the results. I posted a few pics in this forum "TheAnimator 4 months PostOp". I don't know how many grafts you need, but I bet it wouldn't cost you more than 5k with Dr. Keene. I would...
Re: TheAnimator 4 Months PostOp
I can't really imagine having things much better the day of surgery. Everyone was nice, courteous and accomidating. Dr. Keene even had mistaken and thought I was only going to have 1500 grafts in the temples and none in the crown. I think everyone was...
Hi Everybody,
I'm intending on putting up a blog that tells about my experience and has a lot more pictures (I've been taking them every week).
But until then I thought I'd put up some progress pictures at 4 months. I'm very happy with the results so far!
I got my hair transplant from Sharon Keene, Jan...
