Two questions: poly system and my current lace one

Your system sounds like mine. Lace in front and about an inch or so of poly on the sides and back. I use a clear matte spary in the front that gives the lace a sort of coating. When it dries, it acts as a smooth surface for tape and it sticks great!

Pieces from the factory. What do they use?

What do they use before sending the hair to you or your supplier? It makes the hair feel so much softer and real. They must use something after all the processing they do to the hair. So far, I can only find that they MIGHT use Dimethicone...

I have a great supplier from Alibaba

I had one from there many years ago. I do not remember if the hair quality was any good because I sent it back; it had a VERY high density. Also, it had a white spot on the underside of the lace; it was from bleaching the knots. Never bought again.

I have a great supplier from Alibaba

It took me some time to find the right one, but this vendor is excellent! Her name is Venus Ye, and her website and email is below. She even sends me photos of the pieces before shipping and won’t send anything until I give my approval. Below is a permed unit she made for me. It’s French lace...

The Horrendous Hair Replacement System Landscape In Melbourne, Australia And My Diy Story

You did an amazing job—everything looks fantastic! I’ve started doing my own as well. But what really caught my attention was the part about the salon saying they’d have to charge $700 because that’s what they’d earn if not for cutting your piece. I might be in the wrong line of work, lol

How To Protect Lace From Stains When Coloring A Wig?

Get the strongest hair gel you can find. Apply it to the lace and let it harden—then color away! It comes off very easily.

I have tried many suppliers for a hair system

And nothing beats Toplace. I don't know what they do, but the hair is absolutely the best. I even had a piece permed, and there was no frizz—unlike pieces from other suppliers, which became unusable after perming. Toplace also provides a graduated hairline, making it look much more realistic. If...

Knot Bleaching, Why Not Just Dye Them Blond?

I have successfully used rit dye remover that stripped the hair of its color and turned it blonde, but I have not the slightest clue how you would achieve this on just the knots; if anyone knows a way, I would love to know...rit dye remover has the consistency of water, not a gel or paste.

Some general advice needed for my system

I recently tried Pureology Color Fanatic Leave-in Conditioner, and nothing compares to it. It is out of this world. Not sure you can buy it in the UK though. It is also expensive, about $40 dollars a bottle. The shampoos and regular conditioner are amazing as well, but also expensive.
