If it is the same drug with the same dose then why are people experiencing shedding and erection differences after switching? After a month of trying generic, I'm going back to the name brand for $10 more a month.

I have noticed a change in erections also after switching to generic Propecia. I have been on it for a month and the problems seemed to have minimized, but I think I'm going back to the name brand till generic comes down in price a bit more....if it ever does.

I recently switched to generic Propecia and have experienced some shedding but nothing that is overwhelming. Although I'm not sure that it is doing the job that the name brand was doing for me. At my Walmart location, the generic was only $10 cheaper than the name brand. I will be switching back...
