I watch Kevin Mann's videos on Haircafe a lot and he's convinced that titrating to 2.5mg dutasteride per day would be a cast-iron guarantor of preventing further hairloss. Yet there are those here, and others, who are still non-responders even at 2.5....so what is going on there? If the consensus is the...
....as part of their treatment plans. No particular red flag or warnings attached to it ,it's just there alongside minoxidil/finasteride and their 10% minoxidil offer (which I find far too greasy to use for daytime application). Surprising really, given the potential risks and anectodal evidence of efficacy...
I suppose the Q is what was the regime of those RU users. Were they using it on its own or as an adjunct to something like dutasteride, to address the remaining scalp DHT?
But it did grow hair? Or even maintained? So for people who finasteride or dutasteride has not worked for - and I am continuing to lose on dutasteride - this could be worth a shot?
"Macaques are a validated model for testing Androgenetic Alopecia treatments. To date there has not been a single finding in macaques revealing a different etiology in their pattern baldness versus ours, and no treatment has ever been shown to work better on them than on humans. That makes...
I'm instantly suspicious of any trial where the 'after' pics feature longer hair. As acbrantlin points out, the judicious arranging of longer hair to get coverage is one of the daily rituals of hairloss...anyone around NW2/3 knows this. It just seems the most basic of trial protocols that the...
Has anyone tried upping their does to increase effectivness? I have had no success on 0.5 and have heard that the drug can be well tolerated at these higher doses, increasing effectiveness
I can't identify if it's fake but as many have pointed out before, it's hard to understand why fraudsters, presumably looking to make a lot of money, would embark on faking minoxidil foam as a way of doing that since it's so cheap to make in the first place.
I'm inclined to agree with the above and it's depressing to hear, if not surprising given the history of hairloss treatments. I have similar doubts about Pyrilutamide, leaving only the GT formulation coming from the same Chinese company.
Hi, I have used both Hims and Manual topicals with the spray applicators (including Manual's 10% minoxidil+finasteride combo) and unfortunately didn't see results. Having said that I'm 48 and have been on finasteride/dutasteride for about 25 years. I'm NW3 and recession is continuing, but probs an age thing.
I found the...
