this is why i will only take proscar. Or i guess propecia if i had to. But never a generic. Ive seen to many stories like this. I would think your hair could grow back, did it just shed quickly or did you have miniaturization and overall weakened hair throughout the year on generics?
Dude if you want to save your hair its finasteride or bust. I did the saw palmetto, nettle root type dht blockers for years until a lil real hair loss started and i got on finasteride. Thank god! the sh*t really works and if anything libido and sexual are as good if not a lil better than before...
thanks man, yeah i dont buy the under 30 thing either. I started finasteride at 34 (10 months ago) at early stages of hair loss and my hair got healthier/fuller pretty fast. I know its not the same thing but if finasteride/ minoxidil can work after 30, i dont see it being much different...
Ok i cant read through 130 pages here... What's the deal everyone? When is this magic lotion actually available for a regular guy to purchase? Have we even gotten that far yet?
not to nit pick, but its a fungus-Yeast not bacteria. Good bacteria actually controls yeast and other fungi. Im not trying to be smartass, just dont want to confuse folks. But your right everyone has it and its usually harmless unless you have a large overgrowth
Im pretty sure candida (Yeast/Fungus) is what actually causes dandruff(Hence nizoral, ketoconazole), but other than that it just usually lives harmlessly on all of our skin, So i dont think candida would really affect hair loss. But ice cream and peanut butter probably dont provide the greatest...
Only on actual temples and There's alot of hair there just a lil miniaturization happening. So yeah just tried to improve the area and or prevent future loss
are you sure about this? Ive been using rogaine foam only on temples 1x daily(4 -5 months) and i never should have started. My shed seemed to grow back but thats it. I kinda hate having to apply it and for some reason i dont trust minoxidil. I dont like anything that can cause hair loss that...
I say winter, but why do people in hot climates have awesome thick hair? I assume to protect their scalp from the sun. So Wouldn't our hair (north America type climate people) thicken during the peak sunshine months? It seems the opposite. Hmmm, very strange indeed
well thanks man lol i know everyone wants to talk about finasteride, min, nizoral and future treatments understandably, but i figured something different. I agree though my hair seems a bit thicker in the winter as well. yay! Winter is near! Jk at least some people did the poll...So only a partial fail lol
Ok... I admit not the most compelling thread. But everyone's always worried about the dreaded shed. I thought we could explore some natural reasons it occurs. Maybe its not the finasteride you started 9 months ago or whatever, Maybe There's a normal, natural, and rational explanation...
Just A suggestion so you dont ever have to worry...My friend, PROSCAR. The original and still the best lol. 35 bucks a month for merck brand finasteride. Cant beat it in my opinion.
I haven't seen much talk about this and was wondering what everyone thought. Does anyone notice more shedding in the warmer months? I know we're not cats and dogs lol but do you guys notice anything one way or the other? Ive seen a few vague studies that show more shedding in September /october...
