21 year old collegiate athlete looking to expand into professional endurance sports during graduate school.

I'm a current Norwood 1 with diffused thinning. Father is bald, both uncles on my mother side are bald as was their father.

I'm currently research topical treatments that are shown to have no systemic effects that can help maintain what I have, regrowth is just a bonus. These treatments must have no effect on my training/athletic performance, any sides I experience may well cause me to buzz my hair and accept life without hair, though I'd like it to not come to this.
