    Rogaine Waxy Build-up

I am having this same problem with kirkland's liquid. Huge waxy flakes, almost like a layer of skin pealing off. Nizoral doesn't do anything. Do you guys have any tips? Apple cider vinegar? T-Sal?

Does minoxidil work on the temples?

It works for some people, and could feasibly work anywhere that you still have hair (i.e., if your temples are slick bald, it is very unlikely that minoxidil will regrow anything). You may want to give the finasteride a full year before starting with the minoxidil, as some people do get regrowth from just finasteride...

diffusers: be wary of growing your hair out

This has been said before but I think it is worth repeating. I think a lot of guys that are diffusely thinning tend to dread the next haircut, fearing their male pattern baldness has progressed and they will look even more bald with shorter hair. As a result, they may tend to let their hair grow a bit longer...

    DO i have DUPA?

If the donor zone (essentially the middle of the back of your head, directly below the crown) is ok and the loss is isolated to around the ears, nape, and temple points then it is probably just retrograde alopecia and not DUPA. Your photos look like retrograde alopecia to me. I can't tell you...

    DO i have DUPA?

Looks like possible retrograde alopecia. Is the the hair above the nape and below the crown (as in the middle of the back of your head) still thick? Is the thinning limited to an inch or so area from above your ears that runs along the nape of your neck? Is the hair high up on the sides of...

    MPBfighter's story

Re: integtyper's story very unlikely this is temporary - you are diffusely balding in the horseshoe area, which is indicative of genetic male pattern baldness. stress induced balding would be all over the head, more or less evenly (the sides and back would be just as thin as the top).

Acute male pattern baldness ..horseshoe @ 26 :(

I agree with the others: shave your head. Perhaps try a very short buzz at first if you don't want to go down to the skin. You're still pretty young so if you immediately get on finasteride, minoxidil and nizoral you could possibly regrow some hair (almost definitely not a full head of hair, but enough to...

My last ditch attempt with finasteride failed miserably

Have you noticed less shedding at all? You are 28 years old, so maybe your male pattern baldness will slow down a bit, with or without internal dht inhibitors. Sorry finasteride isn't working out for you.

    Does weight training cause hairloss

I obviously have genetic male pattern baldness, but my point was that I don't know for certain whether the weight training made me begin the balding process earlier as my androgen receptors became more sensitive with age. Who knows, maybe if I hadn't started lifting weights again my balding...

    Does weight training cause hairloss

From what I have read weight training has no bearing on male pattern baldness. I started weight training in my teens (30 years old now) but stopped when I was 26. Shortly after I started up again at the age of 28 I started losing my hair. Who knows if there was any causation between the...

Vinicio13's Story -( Telogen Effluvium or Pattern Baldness?)

Just go to your regular doctor and tell him to write you a prescription for proscar. Tell him you are going bald and want to take finasteride.

    Kabooski's Story - (39)

I don't see anything but an exceptionally thick head of hair for a forty year old guy, although I understand that photos don't always tell the whole story, especially when you are in the early stages of diffuse loss. You are on finasteride, and that is essentially all that you can do at this point...

Sequenceme's Story - (Rogaine made my hair worse!?!?)

Re: Hi! I'm new here! Rogaine made my hair worse!?!? Rogaine often causes a shed when you start using it, so if you remain calm and stick with the rogaine you should grow all of that recently shed hair back. You sound like you have BDD. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Body_dysmorphic_disorder

    my sad situation

You didn't mention if you belong to a gym, but if you're naturally skinny and have trouble gaining muscle you have to use a different exercise routine than the average person. For example, you would think about stopping all cardio, eating even more, and lifting weights for just 30-45 minutes...

Hm, I'm feeling it at the moment for some reason :(

*joins HairLossTalk.com in state of male pattern baldness-induced panic* *disregards FDA approved drugs in favor of goji berries, balayam* *attempts to dissuade other male pattern baldness sufferers from taking finasteride/minoxidil via internets in act of stunning altruism* *continues to bald* *vows to find baldness cure hidden within translated text...
