Thanks everyone for the replies. Is finasteride really worth it, with all of the possible side effects? I've heard a lot of horror stories. Including from people who only took it for one month and still got stuck with them.

I want to do everything I can to keep my hair, but at the same time, it makes me so tired to constantly be thinking about it, looking for new treatments etc. And I'm not even sure I won't lose my hair anyway, even after doing so much about it.

I wash it almost everyday. Kind of have to because I use a lot of hairgel. Kind of want to change it because maybe the gel and washing speeds up the hairline receding? I've heard people say that.

Although your hairline does seem to be further back than most people your age, it's certainly possible that this is just your natural hairline. Do you have any pictures from months/years ago where your hairline's kind of visible? You could compare them. It is possible to start balding at 16, so...
