I used generic topical minoxidil for 1 month. I stopped use due to huge white flakes on my scalp, in my hair and on my clothes. Plus it took forever to dry. I switched to Rogaine mousse. I stopped because I couldn't get it to penetrate near to the root of the hair. It just clogged and 'styled'...
