    No go on the Rogaine

Eh that might be the dumbest statement of the year, no offense. Seriously, how can your friend/family know for sure that rogaine caused a brain tumor? Do they have any medical training at all? Heck, even doctors cannot tell what caused that brain tumor, so how the heck can a normal person? What...

Started rogain liquid a 3 weeks ago..

That is not really a side effect, it's actually a sign of the minoxidil working. If you didn't get any shed then that's not necesarily good. The hairs falling out are the weak ones that will be affected by the minoxidil. So the more hairs that fall out the more hairs that the minoxidil will "work" on and...

    How to correctly apply foam?

So I've been using mostly liquid up until now, which I just apply to the scalp and let it dry/absorb on its own. But now with foam I've heard different techniques of applying it. One is to put it on the scalp and gently massage the area with your fingers until the foam is all absorbed in the...

    Drying too fast when cycling?

You're probably not getting the full effect of the minoxidil that way. Liquid especially can take up to 3 or 4 hours to fully be absorbed in the scalp. So by you going out and getting the stuff blown off by the wind you're only getting what like a fraction of the absorbtion time. This will make it...

Planning to switch from 5% to 2%.

Once a day with a slightly weaker solution will probably just maintain the hair you have now and nothing else. You won't lose it because you're still feeding the hair minoxidil (albeit much less), but at the same time you won't gain anything else. I would say to try 5% once a day (instead of 2)...

    Foam or liquid ?

Their exactly the same solution, so technically they should be the same. But there are other factors that influence their effectiveness. Some say that foam dries too fast and doesn't get absorbed into the skin as much as liquid (which takes like 2-3 hours to dry completely). So by that, I would...

    Rogaine for diffused thinning?

Rogaine can be used anywhere on the scalp that previously had hair. Whether that spot is a complete bald spot now, or just thinning doesn't matter. If there was hair there before, and now it's gone due to mbp, rogaine could have an effect on that area.

To those whose Rogain Foam is watery...

You answered your own question. The stuff melts into a liquid when it's warm, like for example when it touches your skin. Keep it in the fridge for a couple minutes before using.

Need advice... been on propecia for 6 weeks

Yeah what's the point to be able to pick up a hot chick at a bar with your nice looking new hair if when you take her back home you can't even get it up.

How long to wait in between liquid applications?

Right now I'm using rogaine 5% and applying it once at around 5:30pm and then again at 10:30pm before bed. Is this enough time for it to be fully absorbed into the scalp? Should I wait more for it to really absorbe before applying it again? These are the only times I can apply as I can't...

    Liquid better than foam

Anyone have some concrete results or whatnot that liquid rogaine is better than foam, but obviously less conveniant. Or is the foam more conveniant and better, or the same?

How do you guys apply rogain foam exactly?

Yeah maybe not minutes, but I definitely do it until the stuff is completely dry on my scalp. Wasn't sure if that was the right way to do it, or if there even is a right or wrong way.

How do you guys apply rogain foam exactly?

So I've gotten different opinions on how to apply the foam, especially with it being so fast drying and everything. At first, I would just simply put it on the scalp and let it dry (just like the liquid rogaine before). I didn't see that great of a result, so I figured that maybe I wasn't doing...
