    What Multivitamins do you use?

One-A-Day or equivalent generic is fine. I say that just for a supplement for general health. Like everyone here said, no effect on hair whatsoever.

    My story of trying everything

That's the most heartfelt yet articulate post I've read in a while. I wish you every success. Just remember, hair be damned, the most important thing you've got going is your daughter. Good luck to you on all counts!

    New Here

I don't think it's safe to say that. College hockey could just a well be pocket pool. You probably won't get any sides unless you obsess yourself into having them.

That is one heck of a list of crap. Holy hell. Good luck to you.

    37 Thinning and Balding

contrarian I'll be a contrarian here and say you've got nothing to lose by trying, and you may be able to gain. You do have some hair up there. Your hair is short, and doesn't look much different than some after shots of "success stories" here who have claimed progress/success. I think...

Balding at 19? - PLEASE HELP

Do not get on dutasteride or RU. That is reckless advice. If you haven't already, see a doctor and be under his/her supervision with respect to treatment with finasteride or whatever it may be.

Reporting my story as a 16/17 year old on dutasteride

I agree with some of the posters above. You are too young to be self-medicating with stuff like finasteride and dutasteride. I'd suggest that you talk to your doctor and seek advice there. At the minimum you need him to be aware and to monitor you.

I would suggest that you may feel differently when you're 50.

    New guy who's feeling confused.

Hi Popeye77, I'd do the finasteride as your doctor has prescribed, and heed his advice on the minoxidil. My opinion is that you should not dabble around with the RU, dutasteride, etc. You'll see a lot of folks advocating climbing aboard any ray of hope that can be procured from an online...

    Back again

Thanks, Scorpiolove. It is a risk but not a huge one. If no progress, then I'm no worse off!

No wigs or transplants for me. Bic may be an option down the road, just going to see what happens. I believe NW5, or some sub-class thereof. Just about like the user I gave above.

    Back again

I was a regular on this site several years ago. I participated in the forum just about daily and remember all the "legends" ...Cassin, Gardener, CCS, Bryan (RIP), et al. Lots has changed in my life since those days. Over the past few years, I more or less stopped all treatments. I'd use...
