The guy also says:
More doses resulted in more hair.
Higher frequency resulted in more hair.
Leg hair is more difficult to manipulate than scalp hair.
This is just a short study and you really need up to 6 months of treatment to see the actual results.
Thanks for the update @champpy ! Much appreciated.
This is why I suggested you getting a USB microscope. That way you can follow any early progress up close.
Anyway, you say you lost more hair. Maybe that’s true. But if so it’s not that strange since you did inflict damage to your scalp. If...
@champpy have you considered getting a USB microscope to study and document the progress? Could be interesting to see if anything is sprouting. USB microscopes can be found for less than $50.
Has this been brought up here yet? I’ll leave it to you experts to discuss how important this is.

I’m very optimistic that you will see results @champpy. There really is something fundamental about wounding an regrowth.
The cool thing about this is that it’s widely available in beauty salons all over the world already. Cheaper than a hair transplant, no scarring and probably superior results.
Have a look at all of these studies. What do they have in common? Wounding.
Wounding, wounding, wounding.
”Researchers have determined the role of a key growth factor, found in limited quantities in human skin cells, that helps hair follicles form and regenerate during the wound healing...
Me too! With all the reports that we now have of wounding causing regrowth in both animals and humans it’s pretty clear that it works.
I mean, just imagine 50% regrowth like they got in this study. For the peeps that still have some hair that would be the equivalent of a hair transplant mega...
Thanks alot @champpy ! I would just encourage you to try to get some pics with better focus. You will want that too later on when you are trying to see if you have had any results or not. Try to get one from ”above” too. And some close ups. Just keep a steady hand on the iphone and you should be...
Here is a video of how it’s done. The needle carries the thread but is then removed while the thread remains.
Since people are already doing this to their faces I see no problem with doing it on the scalp. Also, google some ”thread lift before after” pictures. There really is a huge difference...
I don’t understand why there isn’t more excitement about this method.
We now have multiple studies indicating that scalp wounding does indeed cause hair growth.
Those studies however only applied a few wounding sessions and still produced results.
What is so brilliant about this method is...
I completed the study at new years. Now I'm doing dermarolling every 14 days. What I have noticed: Tons of peach fuss along and below my hairline. The hairs are only visible at certain light conditions. Some of them have turned darker. They popped up after a few weeks, but since then not much...
