I did, but I still lost hair. it certainly made my existing hair shiner. but it didn't help with regrowth or maintenance.

Mate im in exatly the same boat as you, I wear my hair long and the receding looks exactly the same. im glad to find someone going through the same thing. ive been using propecia for 1 1/2 months. going through the shed at the moment but im hopeful for results. let us know how you get on.

Nizoral comes in 1% or 2% you can buy it at boots no problem. Propecia isn't availible on the NHS but proscar is, you may have to pay the standard £7 charge (if you are in England) or you may get it for fee.

Go to the Farjo clinic or the Belgravia centre in London, they'll be able to help you out. consultation is free, well worth it if hair loss is bothering you
