Still risky for a young guy in his 30s to get a transplant without medication (at least some form of 5-ar inhibitor or topical anti-androgen) regardless of the level of loss. It's not all regrowth, a lot of it is shedding. But the shedding gives you a good idea where my male pattern baldness was going. Dutasteride side effects are a bumpy ride, seems the longer I am on it the more I am used to it.
