Someone explain to me how dutasteride doesn't cause frontal thinning...*PIC INCLUDED

Man it looks good. Month 4 was magic. I noticed all month it was easier to style. I could cut it short and not be scared the wind would blow. Something just seemed thicker. And when it was time to take the 4 month update picture I was pleasantly surprised it looks pretty good. I think all...

Hm interesting. The oral min can like disgifure your face though I think. dutasteride disfigures your balls and oral min disfigures your face. *sigh* It's not easy fighitng hair loss. Not but I'm sure some people have good luck with dutasteride/finasteride combo or dutasteride alone it's just not me and a lot of people as...

Okay update the hair situation seems to have stabilized and improved a bit but I don't know it will improve much more. I'm hoping though it's stable. Has anyone had it where some of their aggressive hair loss went on them while on finasteride but after that went out on them they stayed stable...

It messes with your junk for sure. They are actually doing some preliminary trials I read somewhere I think from Dr. Rassman's blog that are using Avodart as a way to temporarily sterilize males.

That was kind of my reasoning when I started the pill but it didn't work so well for me. The fact it raises scalp testosterone over 100% is possibly something to muse about. That's significant in my opinion. In the South Korean studies dutasteride regrew hair a bit faster than finasteride but...

I totallly agree, I went from 1mg to 0.75mg and in 7 weeks I had lost quite a bit of head in the mid scalp area. I moved back to 1mg and within a month or two it came back. For me 0.25mg made a big difference. That's why i actually ended up going up another 0.25 to 1.25mg. That's what I'm...

Have you tried upping dose? I heard Sprio wasn't safe. And isn't clinically proven to work anyway.

Anyone shed with Nizoral and recovered the hair?

Be careful too much Nizoral is bad for you. How many days a week are you using it? I overused it for awhile and lost hair in the front. I think it came back though fortunately. Another thign nizoral does is it sometimes makes you lose hair but it also just makes your hair really thin because it...

It's true. But for some the maintenance (if any) is the crown is not worth the loss in the front and mid. A.K.A. some of us are just out of luck. Nothing left you can do. Except maybe up finasteride? I'm on 1.25 Proscar. Nizoral 1% twice a week. And Kirkland's minoxidil twice a day. Given Avodart isn't...

*bump* (I just updated a 2 month hair loss status in my opening post but it didn't bump the thread for some reason.)

That's awesome you had a good response to finasteride. It's possible my dutasteride shed was paving the way for amazing regrowth. I'll never know. But more likely yeah I think it's a genetic thing some people just respond better to the different medicines. I wouldn't advise against using dutasteride I just think too...

Someone explain to me how dutasteride doesn't cause frontal thinning...*UPDATED PIC* Okay so this is just horrible. After being a good responder to finasteride and stable for three years on 1.25mg Proscar, I decided to add 0.5mg of Avodart once a week to my regimen. Why, because I waited to...
