Anyone taking baricitinib to prevent Alopecia Areata?

Just curious if this is working for anyone. I've only got one dime sizes spot that I can hide with the right haircut. Although a couple years ago I had on average 4-5 spots all about an 1.5" in size. Sure would be nice if there's a prescription (with low sides) that would give me the piece of...

Do Corticosteroid Shots Into The Scalp Really Work For Alopecia?

Same with me. Kenalog shots every month and it grew back in. I took pictures with my phone close up and could see the tiny hairs sprouting everywhere after first series of shots. Although i was also applying a topical. Clobetasol.

Bald spot on side of head....

I highly recommend you go see a dermatologist first. If it's something like alopecia arreata then the area could be scarred and will not support hair. It may look like healthy skin, but hairs will never grow.

    Graft exposure to the elements

Is there a concern with the amount of time a graft spends in a lab dish being cleaned up by a tech vs. it being pulled out of the donor area and placed right back in the recipient area? I wondered the the entire time I was having my procedure done. I guess it's a pretty technical question, but...

    Hi !!!Cheap solution...I think

I thought that I heard there's a small handfull of reputable Doctor's in europe. Maybe I'm wrong but just research dude, and bounce your finding off people on these forums. But when it comes to travel you still may have to make some kind of flight, big or small. I was dreading a 3 hour drive to go...

Logistics of an out of town transplant

I felt great the next day. But i only had 1044 grafts done. I honestly couldn't tell unless i touched it or looked in the mirror. The worst part would be being searched at security and them asking what the hell is wrong with your head in front of 50 people. Although, you'll never see any of them...

    Hi !!!Cheap solution...I think

andrei Everyone is being a smartass because they're making a very strong point. This place is probably a nightmare waiting to happen. With pricing 4 times cheaper than other clinics you need to be very cautious. A good test would be to contact some of their patients or go there yourself. Don't...

    Everybody's Opinion

Just as I feel, a lot people on here haven't seen multiple docs in different locations. Therefore they'd be biased with their opinion. For example, I went to Dr. Cole and thought he did a fantastic job, but I have nothing to compare it to. I was comfortable the entire time and he seemed to know...

Best Post-Op Spray To Keep Grafts Moist?

I used biotin spray every hour on the hour during while awake per Cole, which ruined a few baseball caps. I kept this up pretty strictly for the first 10 days. Although, I was amazed at how clean with minimal scabbing the recipient area stayed.

Fixin' my Crown w/ Dr. Cole

hair transplant, I've seen some bad posts against Cole, but he always come forward and admits to them and addresses them. So he has had some negative press but he agreed to it which is in turn kinda positive. I think most untrusted and unreliable clinics would have denied or swept negative issues under the...

    hair transplant - Why Not?

Something you need to consider is that if you get an hair transplant now and you're not able to control the loss with rogaine, propecia, etc then you could end up with transplanted hair surrounded by hair loss. Then you're stuck getting another procedure to fix that and possible future procedures to...
