    Stopping finasteride after 8 months

For me, it takes about 3 months to get bad. If I hop back on, it takes about 3 or 4 months to notice a "coarseness" or thickening. It's never going to recover, but to keep it is key, and using concealers. I do bounce off and on, like if my hair looks like sh*t (which it does then recover some).

    Stopping finasteride after 8 months

I would keep on the half pills for a while. I've never really heard many stories of it making things worse long term. And of course always use Rogaine with it.

    Stopping finasteride after 8 months

My crown is wrecked, but the finasteride never made it super recover since I was already bad off when I started. It did help recover some when I was on it, but concealers have always been my savior.

wtf is going on with my hairline?

Yes receding. Being a little older means you may have a lot of time, or may never go bald.

    Stopping finasteride after 8 months

It took me a couple of months to see results, but a year and a half until it suddenly made a difference. I pretty much have quit finasteride since it makes me have a restricted feeling with erections, and little to no ejaculation. Still using Rogaine and derma rolling and rosemary oil, and adding left...

Balding or high hairline. The last photo is 5 years ago

Yea just aging. Not balding per se.

Is this male pattern baldness or something medical?

It doesn't look normal. Also if you don't have insurance then I don't know what your options are to get on Finasteride. Also, do your research. DHT is a type of Testosterone that your prostate produces. You make more of it the older you get, and that's the chemical that attaches to the...

    Am I balding?

Looks good to me. Keep an eye on it. Look at Magnus Carlsen. World chess champ. Same hairline as yours.

Almost 3 months on finasteride progress? Thoughts?

Looks the same in both pics, BUT it could take a year to see good results. I finally saw GOOD results at 1.5 years. Not sure why it took that long, but if you are happy, and the texter feels better (rubbing your hands through), keep going and keep adding things like vitamins, etc. Keep what you...

40 Year Old Crown Androgenetic Alopecia Hair Loss Story

Good news; at your age, the loss will be slower. Also, keep the regiment and use concealers. The slower the process, the easier it is to accept / deal with.

33M, Diffused thinning getting worse every year, Need Advice

When you're 55 you will still want the balding to stop. It never ends. You can try finasteride and break the pills up into quarter sizes and add slowly. Look for side effects. Try adding other things folks swear by. Your advantage is that you are older so it should be a slow process. You won't wake up...

My Finasteride Update, 22 Y/o (pics)

Looks good. Do you have some old pics like when you first started freaking out and took them? It would be a good side by side. Anyways how many years now since the first panic attacks? :) My loss is slow slow slow, but my crown will always have that thin spot. But I can deal with it.
