Doh! Looks like we can't use insurance to cover the generic version of Proscar, according to that site...

I'm wanting to know about this as well. My insurance will not cover Propecia, but I'm sure they'll cover Proscar (generic). I will only have to pay $5 co-pay every 5 months if I'm not mistaken. Could I just go to my doctor and tell him "Hey, I've heard that Proscar helps out with male pattern...
