I used to own that site. I then sold the content to someone else who has since put up their own stuff. I wish I hadn't done it now. I may make another site, though.
The photos taken immediately post op show all the transplanted grafts. Those grafts ultimately shed within a few weeks and...
If you are, in fact, genuine then you will understand my suspicion. There has been more than one "patient" that has shown up on this forum in the last couple of weeks to "help" out another member. I noticed that you wasted no time in his thread as well (youngndumb).
Everyone is trying to...
I just took a look at both of the sites that "DaveOne" recommends one should trust for good info on this physician.
Funny how his ads show up on the FRONT PAGE of BOTH of them, isn't it?!?
This particular Doctor's picture and bio is located in the black flash banner located almost...
He's hardly a newbie to hair loss forums. It's pretty ironic that he chastises one hair loss forum for not recommending a physician and then goes on to recommend someone read articles from two other hair loss forums that Dr. Cole sponsors.
Yes, it's politics. And this guy's posts are about...
It's also pretty lazy to comment on the studies when you haven't read them. The studies based their information on hair counts maintained. Do some reading, grasshopper. You have much to learn.
Bryan's posts have been helping me out for years so it was the least I could do to credit him for his work.
Thanks, Bryan, for not minding me showing those charts on my blog!
"So, if youre planning on a hair transplant, plan on wearing your hair an inch or two in legth. No bic or buzzin' your top afterwards."
You are such a fear-mongerer. I cannot believe that you can, in good conscious, word your post in a manner that would make people believe that this happens with all hair...
Dr. Martinick is a great physician.
Probably the easiest way to put up photos is to upload them to a free hosting site like http://www.photobucket.com. Then all you have to do is input the image url it gives you into your post.
"hair loss heroes" - I like that! That is awesome!
As for your question, even before I ever did anything about my hair loss I never saw an accumulation of shedding hairs. Not on my pillow, in my brush, or in the shower. I mean, I would see hairs (esp. in the shower) but it never seemed...
A resounding "Yes" for me. Perhaps it's because I started thinning so early (17) and so fast (I was a NW4 by 25) but I lived my life under a ball cap for over 8 years. To be able to not worry about it now is like the largest weight ever being lifted off my shoulders. I can now concentrate on...
How about you answer up? Is this true? Was Gillenator there for you when you were going through tough times? And you turn around and talk to him like this on a public forum? You're a real class act, Mahair.
Gillenator represents good doctors. If he didn't then I would be the first to say...
Just remember that the average guy will lose 50% (!!!) of his hair in any one place before any thinning is noticed. So, odds are, that if you can notice it's thin when it is wet and not dry then you are close to that 50% mark.
Time to start treatment.
I proceeded to a Norwood IV by the time I was 25 and I never noticed any hairs. Not on my pillow, no more than normal in my shower, no more than normal in my brush or comg.
