I was more referring to the physical aspect, like pressure causing circulation issues or the systems pressure on the scalp. A foreign body being present all the time.

So aside from the many discussions on how chemicals in glues, tapes, plastics and protectors are no good...what other physical problems could arise long term from wearing? I know that the actual system is a separate entity from your body, but could having this light weight item on your head 24/7...

I just look at scalp protector as another chemical. Never used it.
