I'm not generalizing salons with my response but back when I started my journey about 4.5 years ago, the salon did such a bad job, me and my mom had to teach ourselves everything from the start about hair systems. So my biased response is that the salon messed up. I was also very demoralized and...
I think three times?
Once with a significant other who found out about it the first time we slept together, it was during a time where I forgot my glue and did not put it on correctly before visiting her for the weekend. She told me about it two months later by saying, you know I know right? I...
Hi Guys,
It's been a couple of years since I posted here but the growing concerns of the shortage of hairpieces has me coming back and seeing what all of your solutions are. Not sure if this question has been asked yet, but I see that there are still plenty of women's wigs around and my female...
I was 23 when I got my piece, a little over a year ago. I went to a toupee/system place. It looked very legitimate, even had private rooms. The WORST decision of my life. The fact that I was so inexperienced with hairpieces forced me to go to a hair piece "professional". All in all, It was a...
1) I work out 2 hours a day 6 days a week, plus I'm a heavy sweater and have very oily skin.
2) There are several trusted vendors found on this site
3) I wear it during intimate situations, never had a problem.
For both. When you touch up, do you lift the front hairline? ALso what's your timeline for lift? If it's around a week, I'd suggest doing a fresh install.
I would use Skin Protector Thick. And then use glue. Make sure you're following direction when applying. So, apply protector and wait 15 min, and then apply 2-3 layers waiting for the glue to be tacky. Application is key.
For shedding, use a Knot Sealer.
For glue, use Great White glue, its easier on the skin.
For protector, i would suggest maybe not using it since it gives me irritation sometimes but i also have dermatitis.
When reattaching pieces, spray through the system that way you're not pulling hair out...
Jesus Christ,
What's with all the hate dude haha. I thought his hair looked perfectly fine, its a style and maybe it doesn't match your cookie cutter life you've lived thru but it looked fairly natural, especially where I live, Big City, east coast.
You have some serious insecurity issues, no...
Hmmm, to be honest, that's where I first started losing hair too. You can always work out a look where you have a very curved front part of the lace to make it look like you have a receding hairline, which (look wise) doesn't mean you're losing hair. That's what I went wit. The most important...
Don't have an answer to your question on full cap but why not go with a shorter hair on the sides and back and a piece on top? I have curly hair and my piece is straight, i get a shape up every 2 weeks at my barber to keep the sides short from curling.
