I forgot how much hair I lost in the shower before male pattern baldness set in.
Anyone know of any facts on this? I know the 100 hairs a day theory for non-male pattern baldness, but what is average in the shower?
Thanks guys....
cheers!
ropcat, you rule...thanks buddy....
I'll keep up with the Nizoral.
I guess the worst possible situation for me is that I get so frustrated w/ just finasteride and start adding minoxidil. I REALLY REALLY don't want to use minoxidil.
How rare is it for one to regrow hair with just finasteride 1.25 + nizoral?
yeah, thanks guys -
I'll be sure and bookmark this thread and stay with it.
One quick question - For me, it doesn't seem like it's an off and on shed....it's more like a consistent/slow shed. In other words, it's been continuous since starting finasteride. Is this normal?...or should it be off...
Damn!
That makes 4 of us!
I hit my 2-month mark with Proscar a couple days ago and think that it has just gotten worse?
I too am reluctant to even touch my hair. I have heard there is a shed that goes with finasteride, but HOW DO YOU KNOW IF IT'S WORKING?
Thanks for all feedback!!!
cheers!
Thanks Cassin...
What kind of moisturizing conditioner do you suggest?
Will I have any shed or anything from quitting Revivogen?
I guess I'll use that 90-day money back guarantee.....
I'm pretty sure the stuff would have worked, but I think proscar will work better...thanks again..
Cheers....
I have been using Revivogen for about a month and just started Proscar 1mg yesterday. Due to itching of the scalp on the applied area, I'd like to quit using it. Would this be OK?
I haven't really noticed anything w/ the Revivogen, due to me only using it for a month.....
thanks
I understand they're both finasteride, but would there be any issues if I started w/ 3 months of propecia, then switched to proscar from then on?
Would it decrease effectiveness?
thanks
Went to dermatologist.
Got a script for propecia.
Would rather be on proscar due to insurance covering it.
Since Proscar is for your prostate, isn't it insurance fraud to prescribe it for hairloss?
Or is there another way to get proscar?
Any suggestions?
I'd rather get proscar through...

So it would be a good idea to use both minoxidil and a dht blocker together and when you are where you want to be in growth, stop the minoxidil and stay on the dht blocker.....or would the new hairs from the minoxidil fall out anyways?
Thanks for responding....
I do understand that they are completely different....Revivogen thickens hair, so I decided to use that, since I am thinning above the temples. I guess my question is would it be better for thinning front to take some thing to stimulate growth or something to inhibit...
I've been doing revivogen for 2 weeks now and noticing some itching in the applied area. I'll be adding nizoral shampoo to help that. Will I have better results from Rogaine? It just sounds like the Minoxidil chemical is amazing.....
Thanks in advance.
