You honestly look better shaved, so I'd avoid using propecia and messing with your hormones. But if you're concerned about your hair, I'd stick with topicals - Keto shampoo, topical spironolactone, possibly Prox-n (from Dr. Proctor), and whatever else looks promising. That will slow the loss down at least.
Thank god. Each hair itself is actually quite thick, but it just has always looked very patchy and spotty to me whenever buzzed down low. But I don't really have anything to compare it to, since I don't go around studying guy's buzzed heads.
I'm worried that I may have naturally poor/thin donor hair, which would make a hair transplant out of the question. Does it look thin to you? Keep in mind that this is buzzed very low and in the sunlight.
