    Procedure #3 scar - 4 mos. post-op

Perhaps the band appearance or depression I complained about before viewtopic.php?f=13&t=72040 was just part of the scar healing. What I see now is a narrow "bald" scar line remaining on my right side only which shows if I pull back my hair: [attachment=6:369hlsqo]hair transplant #3 4 MO POST-OP...

3rd Procedure - band in rear from scar

As you can see, the scar is still healing as its obviously red. The hair indentation follows exactly along the line of the scar. It is very hard to tell looking backwards in a mirror, but it looks like the hair right above the scar stops and a different layer of hair begins right below it.

Delayed or no growth possible in multiple hair transplants?

Thanks for the informative reply to my thread. I was told that 10 days post-op was goo enough for workouts. The delay due to previous "damage" makes sense; I'm in for the long haul on this one! No infection, thankfully. Well, I'm a sun worshipper, what can I say. But I lay out and the sun is...

Delayed or no growth possible in multiple hair transplants?

We all know that blood supply is critical to graft survival. But the questions still unanswered are what parameters are needed in the hair transplant surgery to insure that this supply is adequate? I read that a common rate for graft survival is in the 90-95% range. I wonder how much that may...
