Keeping it simple: My Rogaine Success (2.5 Years Later)

Yes. I've skipped a few days here and there, but it hasn't had a noticeable impact.

Keeping it simple: My Rogaine Success (2.5 Years Later)

Interesting opinion haha. I actually had a similar haircut summer of 2012. I usually keep my hair shorter during the spring and summer. I'll be sure to post a pic with a similar haircut.

Keeping it simple: My Rogaine Success (2.5 Years Later)

I posted in the success stories thread, NOT the Alopecia thread. Male patterned baldness runs in my family and affects most of the males in my family. Rogaine is an FDA approved product that plenty of people on this website are using. Further, I've posted plenty of pictures of my progress in...

Keeping it simple: My Rogaine Success (2.5 Years Later)

Background: I felt the need to amend this entry to clarify a few things. I am not "advertising" for Rogaine or any other product. I am a pre-service teacher in Connecticut who pays for Grad school through tutoring and substitute teaching. If I were to use "Photoshop" or "hair dye," I wouldn't...

I started seeing significant results around November of 2010, which was 3 months after I started. At the 6 month mark-I saw incredible regrowth, especially with my temple recession. One thing I noticed was as I regrew a significant amount of hair, I would also shed a lot. Don't be alarmed by...

No, it's not drying. I don't know much about nizoral though so I'd speak to someone who's more familiar with it if switching is a good idea.

Thanks man! Sorry I misinterpreted your initial comment. And now looking back at the pic, I can see where you were coming from lol Congrats on your results too. You've had significant regrowth for such a short period of time.

I buy mine from Supercuts. I used to go there for haircuts too but their hairdressers aren't too impressive. Mine was $15 too.

I know! I also love how it tingles the scalp. I typically use it 3-4 week but that will vary. I just bought the conditioner too but I'm not sure what affect that will have on my hair. What brand do you use?

Haha well, hopefully nizoral/minoxidil reg brings you success if you start one!

I can assure you it's not a wig otherwise I waste my time on here lol I probably should get haircut soon though. There is still a bit of work to be done. Yes, my regrowth is odd because my hair seems to grow in layers. Rogaine seems to restore my hair in different places at a time. I can...

    My "Success" Story

Sometimes acceptance is what people need. For now, I've been doing well on just rogaine and tea tree shampoo but when the money starts adding up, I might have to ask myself, "is it worth it" and either let it bald or get a permanent hair transplant. You've made a very conscious and brave...

Nope. As I said to the previous poster, I merely brush my bangs to the side for stylistic purposes. Here's another photo of my bangs unbrushed and my hair not tampered with. I also posted a picture of me and my regimen (rogaine extra strength 5% and Tea Tree shampoo-Lemon sage thickening...

That is a beautiful accusation and masterpiece detective work! Too bad you're completely wrong. A combover is when you comb your hair over a bald spot. I comb my bangs to the side for sylistic purposes. Here is a picture of my bangs not combed to the side and my hair completely untampered with.
