It sounds like you all know a lot more than me and this is no easy feat. I shave my hair short anyway, and going bald isn't the end of the world for me, I'd just like to keep the density for as long as possible. Doesn't seem to be worth the cost / routine / side effects.

Probably lose the extras then and just stick minoxidil, and check out oral minoxidil incase I'm in that category of people without the enzyme. I haven't really noticed much difference in a year, but I haven't got any thinner either. I tried finasteride tablets but the sides were really bad so I stopped.
