I've been losing hair since about 17 ish.. Up until 2 years ago, i had no idea you could do anything about it... i'm only in my fourth month now... sorry, don't have pix from months 1 - 3. I don't expect to get all my hair back, but am hoping i can at least stop it, where it is. seeya

I use rogain (equivalent) everywhere i've lost hair or am thinning. Including my temple area. I've got some regrowth from it.

Yea, I've still got hair in front. There's been some excellent regrowth there, but for some reason the webcam doesn't pick most of it up. I will post some more pix soon though. thanx for your input... it's very reassuring. seeya

My hair used to itch a lot until I started using nizoral. It took a couple weeks for the itch to disapear. I think itching is symptomatic of hair loss. Go see a chemist... could have nothing to do with your shampoo or minoxidil, could be allergic reaction etc... best of luck seeya

I'm curious why you would consult with a doctor, regarding you hearing loss, presumably ignore their advice and ask a bunch of baldies like us. ;) Seek PROFESSIONAL advice... stick to it. Anyhow, best of luck with your hearing. seeya

I use a razor blade to slice the proscar up. Not always perfectly accurate though.

My Doctor actually gave me a prescription for propecia.. i took it to a local chemist who said he'd swap it for proscar instead because it was cheaper. He, the chemist, also takes proscar for hair loss. He even went to the trouble of giving me a repeat and showing me how to slice it etc. seeya
