Androgenic Alopecia in females is weird.

I doubt it plays much of a factor seeing how it doesnt seem to affect male patterns.

My theory is the sensitivity is just some guys bodies send more DHT to the inflammation more than a difference in peoples follicles reaction to DHT.

Fatty acids stimulate follice stem cells to grow hair? I am going to test this...

Q q I forget what % he said but I think I read somewhere one of those 2 acids (oleic or the other one) not to go over about 1/6 in the mix to make sure it dissolves into the alcohol good.

Would be nice if there was some oil that would carry all the oleic acid down to the papilla area with no problem but studies have shown that much of the oil doesnt reach there on its own. Even with the hair shaft it still is hard to get much down there.

No I never tried topical minoxidil. I was close to doing it years ago but the stories about people that stopped it losing their results scared me off as its a big commitment long term. Is that type of alcohol really bad on the hair?

I doubt oleic acid in that % with the much higher alcohol content would do anything but I cant say for sure as I have never tried it yet.

I am into anti-aging research and even though it can do some helpful things there are too many possible downsides to Valproic acid imo from what others reported. Personally I wouldnt start using that stuff regularly but I guess you can try it and see if you want. I know some people really into...

Yep I would probably buy pure oleic acid. The mouse with that looked like it had just a little more growth at 20 days than the other acid.

Curious on that myself and its why my plan is to drop to once a week application after week 12 and then later if that works stop entirely and see if it starts reversing or not. If it does I will just jump back on it. My frontal hair is just a little thicker now from it I just noticed for the...

Interesting. I guess you really only do need one of the 2 fatty acids like the study pointed to with the mice growing hair on either of the 2 - its just those are the only 2 fatty acids that will stimulate the stem cells.

Does he say what % is fatty acids and what % is ethyl alcohol when he mixes it. Looks like definite progress. I am at day 68 and I am pretty sure I think I have him beaten out for sure. Will be interesting to compare my day 84 picture to that. I think the alcohol issue is making sure its fully...

It damn sure wasnt healthy with the fibrosis etc expanding like it did. That area would have been Norwood 6/7 concrete hard in a few years I think. I was convinced calcium salts deposited in there big time but I wasnt getting much effect from the DMSO/Ascorbic and citric acid combos before I used...

I never really had a sebum issue - not on top of the scalp anyway. If it was an issue it had to be an issue farther down. My scalp has always been on the dry side.

Yep I wish I had known this stuff years ago and could have headed it off before it spread like a wildfire in that vertex area.
