i've been on generic finasteride for 1.5 years, and lately i've been getting sheds like i've been getting before finasteride. i understand there are periods of shed with or without treatment, but i've never had sheds like these since before medication. any thoughts? any suggestions?

Is it actual regrowth or is the hair around it shedding. Oh, and this is not a before and after, it's both sides of my head.

Nope, the only thing I use is Finasteride. I am unfamiliar with foam, is it worth using?
