I suggest stick with foam. Since they tested minoxidil in the crown region they claim it works only there but it works in the hairline and frontal baldness. Check the Success Stories forum and u will find some encouraging stories.

Dude foam seems to give better results than liquid and from my personal exp foam is easy to apply and dries quickely

It is suggested that minoxidil should not be applied to wet scalp. You can wait 15-20 min after shower so that the scalp is not wet and then apply foam. I usually towel dry my hair and then apply foam

What version of minoxidil are u using is it liquid or foam. Liquid version has PPG and some people (like me) are allergic to it and develop scalp dryness and itiching

why experiment when u are getting good results with respect to hair just take libido boosters like Taugenichts suggested and stay on 1mg ---- my 2 cents

If I understand correctly crown is the top of head and vertex is the region between hariline and crown

minoxidil foam should not cause flaking. Yes u can apply foam wait for 10 min and they spray tricomin (I have been doing this for a month and my hair condition is improving)

Finpecia or Fincar are both reliable and lot of people here use them
