If you stop finasteride you'll catch up to where you would have been if you hadn't taken it at all. no question about that, and it doesn't take long. Don't doubt it.

If my experience is anything to go by, it's possible you were on track to lose big time on the EOD regimen and that it didn't hit til you switched to 1/4 a day. ie. you are blaming the 1/4 a day regimen...

The complicating thing is that I made two changes to the regimen: 1) halving the dose and 2) taking it EOD. Maybe the latter made the difference. who knows.
