Yeah, I don't even know if he has had any hairloss. some people might just look like that in the back (mine is very similar). Both his dad and grandfather have good hair for their ages (at least from the front). Does a mature crown (like mature hairline) exist?

Of course being in shape makes a huge difference. Look at the difference of the face of this guy (MMA fighter): Good shape: Awesome shape: He doesn't even completely shave his head. Just shortens it down. When I started thinning myself I saw his horseshoe, I didn't even notice before...
