Why u start taking dutasteride ? finasteride stop working or what .

I have one question have finasteride anything to do with steroids I ask cuz steroids increase testosterone and cause male pattern baldness and finasteride stop male pattern baldness which means finasteride blocks testosterone . sorry for ma English im new in forum ?
