i had levels in the 900s pre anabolic usage. I now have a high lh reading too, meaning i have compensated hypogonadism. This is a sign that my body needs higher t levels, especially since my shgb is high too.

i just want to double my test levels from 500 ng/dl to 1000. I am worried because would that not double my dht levels. However someone said that isn’t always the case?

you’re right, the scalp dht does confuse me. I just don’t understand why scalp dht is only inhibited within that range and not more?

but if dutasteride only reduces scalp dht by 50% isn’t that why it may not work for some. However as i said ive read scalp dht does not matter. I read this on this forum : It's around the 90s inside the follicle, which is what matters. Scalp DHT levels mean little. Serum DHT levels mean nothing.

Finasteride inhibits type 2 5ar by 70% and dutasteride more than 90%. However studies conclude that finasteride and dutasteride reduce scalp dht by only 40% and 50% respectively. Shouldn’t the scalp dht figures be a lot higher than this? How is this possible? But then i have read that scalp dht has no bearing...
