If you added topical dutasteride and minoxidil only 1-2 months ago, that could very well be the culprit. Any reason you're not taking oral Finasteride, or even topical Finasteride?

Some things to consider: Add ONE capsule of 0.5 mg dutasteride a WEEK to your daily finasteride (dutasteride is very strong, and many, including myself, do better on lower doses), and give this at least one YEAR to assess. It might help at first, but without fighting DHT somehow it will ultimately be a losing battle.

Over the years, I have read zinc sulphate was most effective. Best to just stick with that.

I would stay on finasteride and introduce the dutasteride slowly. One capsule a day (in addition to daily finasteride) for the first 6 months (preferably 12 months), and then assess. If you see progress then you can keep the dose as is. If not, add two capsules a week to your daily finasteride...

Agreed. I'm already on BP drugs for my hypertension, so I would never touch oral minoxidil.

I guess my question should then be for people who have noticed minoxidil working BETTER after dermarolling.

Anyone still dermarolling? I see so many conflicting reports/studies these days about the best needle length and frequency etc. If you are, what's your protocol?
