They Mods may have changed the policy but I believe we weren't allowed to discuss it because there is some risk of people hurting themselves with wounding.
I can't say Ive noticed a difference yet, but I do feel that the dermaroller is helping with absorption.
My bad, I meant to write 0.3mm. I am not really interested in wounding, just want to increase absorption. I believe once you get to .5mm you can use daily as you are now wounding the scalp.
Since you're really torn up about it, I'd suggest you get back on dutasteride. Its basically a certainty that it will be more effective than finasteride. And if you dont see an improvement in a few months jump on RU.
Best of luck
Caffeine shampoos and biotin wont do anything.
Nizoral a couple times a week isn't a bad idea though its effects are mininal.
If you don't plan on trying finasteride again and minoxidil isnt doing enough for you, then you probably want to start considering RU.
There is a lot of info out there on it...
I just started using Regenepure Dr for the past couple days. I am doubtful it will make any significant difference to my loss but I have found that my scalp hasn't been very itchy and also it has left my hair (moderate diffuse thinning) looking quite nice and full.
My plan is to use it 6 days a...
So for about a year I've been using minoxidil 5% 1 to 2 times a day. I don't think it has had any positive results, but who knows maybe its helped me slow down the loss at the crown.
I am about to start using a 3mm thing that we are not allowed mentioning to increase absorption of minoxidil. I will...
If you want to know EVERYTHING than you should do your own research and not just ask for advice on forums. But I am also a diffuse thinner in my early 20's. Started taking finasteride for 9 months and have continued to lose ground. I have experienced basically no side effects which is good. Still have a...
In the first month of taking finasteride my nips got a little tender and harder, so I guess that could be considered very mild gyno. However it went away along with my mild ball ache.
No symptoms anymore, though no results either. Currently 6 months on finasteride.
Your hair looks really good, though it looks like you may have slight recession. Really its going to come down to what your hair loss goals are, realistically finasteride is not going to bring your hairline forward much, but it will likely help you maintain what you have.
Some people get discouraged...
