What’s a microdose for topical, 0.02?
Shivers, I’m of a similar age to you and took finasteride for about 17 years. I stopped oral finasteride about a year ago, tried topical for a while but honestly felt a different set of side effects from that than I ever did from the tablets, exhaustion, wild libido swings...
You can see a doctor here and get a script - read this and get yourself a Medicare card on arrival https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/reciprocal-health-care-agreements
IMO you have zero hair loss and should consider some treatment for your mental health. I’ve suffered BDD / OCD with actual hairloss too, you’re getting yourself wound up over a phantom.
I actually hadn’t - I’ve generally done very well with finasteride but my hairlines really disappearing now. Not sure if swapping to duta will make a difference there.

Yeah I was following your thread @jazz1 - I’m not really into the idea of using 1% finasteride topical. I’ve been taking finasteride 1/1.25mg for a long time so I’m looking for an alternative to that, rather than upping the dose.
iirc the topical finasteride studies used 0.1, please correct me if I’m wrong.
