edgar cayce (if you don't know who he is-google him) reportedly said the cure was using vaseline, (petroleum jelly) olive oil or this really crude black oil thats hard to get and then using woodgrain alchohol to help cleanse the scalp. Very interesting indeed. I've been using propecia...
