Hello, i use liquid 5% minoxidil twice a day for the last 6 years, with decent results. Good regrowth and maintainance. I'm just a bit tired of greasyness and scalp irritation here and there. What do u think guys, should i make the switch? What should i expect other than some cosmetic improvement?

i've seen people in here with more hairloss, achieving great results. If i were you, i would add minoxidil to both hairline and crown. You have very good chance to thicken your hair. Good luck!

Colin, you mean that you stopped for 3 months and your gains didn't go downhill, or it took you 3 months to notice hairloss, so 20 days is too early to make a difference? :dunno: Did you continued its use after the break? Anyone else who had a 15days to a month break from minoxidil treatment but...

If you need regrowth, you should add minoxidil to your regimen. Especially if your crown is just thin and not slick bald there is a good chance to get improvement. It works much better in combination with finasteride, so go for it. Shedding varies from person to person, but normaly it goes...

The crown is ok, your hairline is suspicious, i can't tell for sure from these pics. Visit a good dermatologist, and keep an eye on it, don't stress over it much though. If you have male pattern baldness it's in very very early stage.
