I was using minoxidilmax 15% lately. And what you say is exactly my impression: my scalp irritation is pretty bad and after almost 5 month I see just no benefit from this treatment. It is not doing any better than 5% for me.

Use topical RU to counteract the increased test from 5ar inhibitor. Consider 2,5mg of oral minoxidil for best regrowth. If you still lose with this, don’t blame the pills, it’s simply that you have an aggressive form of hairloss and you would be just much worse off of the meds.

Dude, he is right, long term none of the current treatments truely work, unless you baldness is very mild. At best you can delay and experience the regrowth/shed roller coaster.

Oral minoxidil is a very powerful treatment for diffuser. But do not exceed 2.5mg to avoid side effets. I am currently taking about 1.5mg ED and this is boosting regrowth with almost no sides.
