It could be the start, but guess that you are okay for now, considering that your hairline was always higher at the temples. You can go to a dermatologist to be sure or keep checking it yourself every now and then:)

I forgot to mention that my father is 47 and he started thinning 1-2 years ago, but nothing extreme, he still got hair everywhere.

I'm 19 years old and recently I realised that my hairline is not straight.
So I started freaking out, and I checked some older photos of me, and it seems that my hairline was the same as now at least since I was 16-17 (2-3 years ago).
I guess I never thought of it as a problem or...
