It took me probably 4 months on finasteride before I saw any progress. I started finasteride 2 months before my HRT. I did shed and it was very scary but it didn't last long.
Finasteride 5 mg ED (only cause this is how the pharmacy gives them to me and I'm too lazy to cut them up lol)
spironolactone 75...
@bridgeburn this entire thread is amazing. It's been several months since I logged in but I had to get back on here to applaud the discourse in this thread. I absolutely adore your dissection of masculinity vs femininity. It's wonderful to hear about these nuances of gender and hormones that 99%...
Hey, it's been about 8 months since I came here. I just wanna say the post helped me a lot. I never took minoxidil but estrogen, AA, and finasteride has recovered 80% of what I had lost now.
So glad to not stress about this anymore. You look great, cheers.
Nice gains! I'm a NW2.5/3 with only loss in the temples/front. I'm also mtf transgender so I'm taking spironolactone, estradiol, finasteride. Hoping my temples come back. Strange you didn't need an anti-androgen.
How much breast development did you get?
Damn, sorry about your dude. Your young so hopefully the cure will be around the corner for medical science. Until then, finasteride and dutasteride work well but you should wait till your a little further out of puberty.
Also as others have said, TAKE IT EASY ON THE KETO! Too much could contribute to your...
Today I learned presenting facts is considered "freaking out".
You accused me of citing sociologists but so far you have only name dropped social scientists and I have only cited neurologists. Both McHugh and Blanchard are psychologists. No surprise you'd cite Blanchard. I don't have anything...
Dude what are you talking about I'm not even a liberal. I'm a libertarian. Further, I never cited any sociologists. I cited neurologists and experts in the field of brains. YOU cited a psychologist. YOU cited the most infamous agenda driven social scientist. I cited REAL researchers that use...
LMAO. Trying to claim you are unbiased and looking for "real" information when you just cited Paul McHugh. There is not a doctor out there more politically motivated than Paul McHugh
"He is a self-described orthodox Catholic whose radical views are well documented. In his role as part of the...
This 100%.
Girls with an XX karyotype born with congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) (meaning they were exposed to high levels of testosterone in the womb) tend to develop male social tendencies and male personality features. (Hines, Zucker) They tend to be described by their parents as...
Nothing I posted is pseudoscience. It's all peer reviewed, multi-sourced, academic research. How does it feel to completely ignore empirical evidence based on nothing more than "your feelings"? Where is your evidence? I've presented evidence. Do you have any? It seems like you do not.
How can...
Oh look, another person that has no clue what they are talking about so they use opinion stated as fact.
First off, FtM transgender people are only ~15-30% less common than MtF transgender. However, most of them when transitioning just get read as a butch dyke instead of transgender (not the...
Common fallacy. It over simplifies the discussion to create a binary when in reality there is three factors in play that researchers observe:
Sex - obvious.
Gender Role - clothes, customs, expectations, language.
Gender Identity - internal commitment about the way your body feels.
We can see...
LMAO! Do you think every transgender person is not aware of their birth sex? We are all intimately aware of that. The question then becomes, what is a girl? what is a man? It's clearly not your genitals or chromosomes or you would need to inspect every persons chromosomes and genitals before you...
