I thought Min wasn't that effective on the temples? More for the crown area? If you want to maintain what you have then finasteride is the best option. 1mg every other day (so skip a day) worked for me and stopped getting sides.
Massaging the scalp definitely helps as they recommend massaging your scalp when rubbing it in to stimulate blood flow. For me I got a bit lazy with Rogaine and sometimes went for days forgetting to put it on. I notice back of my hair was getting worse, so now I apply once every night and it's...
Hey guys, just wondering if there is any link people know of? If not all good. I had a blood test and they found some elevated liver enzymes slightly over average. Just want to rule out if the finasteride or minoxidil are having an effect on this.
I'm no expert, though could you try one in the morning and the other at night? Not sure, though overlapping them could make them less effective? Otherwise wouldn't they have released an all in one bottle version?
I might consider the liquid in future, definitely would be easier to apply.
In the meantime I found putting the nozzle on my head so the foam goes directly on the scalp works best, rather than putting it in my hands and rubbing in.
yeah that's a good idea I will try that as well as the gloves (so less absorbs in the fingers and more on the scalp) thanks. I think part of the reason my regrowth was so successful was I started Rogaine on a shaven head, so 100% of the foam was being absorbed into the scalp and I used much...
I've been using a derma stamp lately and I find it much more comfortable than the roller. I can also feel the needles going into the scalp but with much less pain then the roller. I go up to around 1.75 and it is very tolerable. I think I was using a 1mm roller and my face screwed up every time...
I'd wait until the baby is born if you are going to take it. For me the stress of kids accelerated my hair loss to a point where I was desperate and the 10 years holding off on finasteride broke. I've lost track how long I've been on it, but around 5 months I think. In the first months my libido...
so after the three months getting it out of your system did you try a cold turkey period to see if erections would go back to normal without being on any meds?
I've heard different opinions. Some say do some say don't. I think it has something to do with it getting directly into your blood and can cause palpitations etc. I'm assuming this, though maybe someone else who knows more can chime in.
Also keep an eye on how many hairs shed a day, so if you ruffle your hair over the bathroom sink is there alot falling out? I used to get quite a few hairs in the sink and shower doing this, though since going on finasteride I ruffle and get none.
When I started Rogaine I shaved my head, and application was so easy and required so little it was great. Now my hair is about 3 inches long and very thick, though too thick I really find it tricky to get the foam on my scalp without it absorbing into the hair. I've tried parting though still...
