That's good to hear. But I am a little confused (regarding post above yours). Yes I'll eventually have to start finasteride (unless the miraculous cure is discovered between then) but why would I stop Rogaine if it's working? Since all the hairs would fall out even with finasteride.

I am adamant about not starting finasteride because I'm only 18. I don't think you necessarily lose ground with Rogaine if it's regrowing hairs, surely that means temporarily, like eveything, the problem is stable? Thanks for advice on the foam, I'll buy that.

Just looking for some quick advice over one or the other. I'm starting my hair loss treatments with Rogaine rather than finasteride, but I still want the most effective method even without a DHT blocker. I know they're basically identical besides cost, but that's not too much of an issue.

Your hair loss looks exactly like mine. Yet I'm not sure I think finasteride is the best option.

Personally I don't think it's a bad idea, after researching this awful thing for so long, I've dubbed it the bane of the male existence. So all males should take precaution whether they're actively balding or not.
