I've never read any reliable tests where such an outcome has been reported.
Consider that they may be new hairs, or that your hair is suddenly going white for some other reason. Simply dye it to deal with the color; you canapply the dye at home in minutes and it will last for a month...
I wonder if the posters on this site are aware that central health authorities in jurisdictions including Canada and Singapore have already approved the Laser Comb as a HAIR REGROWTH product.
Perhaps these non-US agencies are not as reliable as the FDA (or maybe more so), but that was enough...
Proscar contains 5mg finasteride. and it has been prescribed for years with no ill effects except reduced spermatogenesis in 2% of users.
I'm happy to deal with that level of risk if a 5x's increase in dose is even 50% (rather than 500%) more effective.
So does anyone have a link to aside-by-side...
I've seen results from some early independent studies (circa 1995) of finasteride at 5mg daily dose.
The study didn't include a comparison with effects at finasteride. 1mg dose (current Propecia dosage) vs. the 5mg dose (Proscar dosage).
